Sustainability

Sustainability and the reduction of plastic and single use plastic usage in the gift and greetings industry plays a huge part in what I do and what I stand for. (so much so it's actually what I wrote my dissertation on!)

I have extensively researched into plastic free packaging materials so all of your orders are packaged plastic free! Lovingly packaged in tissue paper, sealed with plastic free stickers, including recycled card thank you notes and posted in recyclable cardboard boxes and mailers with compostable postage labels. Sending gifts and treating yourself shouldn't cost the earth.

Postage And Packaging Materials:

  • All of the outer postal packaging are either cardboard boxes or cardboard envelopes.
  • All parcels are sealed with either plain brown paper tape made from renewable resources (kraft paper) with natural rubber based adhesive, which is recyclable, free from animal products. Or custom designed paper parcel tape made from gummed kraft paper which is recyclable while still attached to the boxes.
  • Compostable plastic free shipping labels with non toxic adhesive.
  • Plastic free stickers made from 100% recycled paper with water based acrylic adhesive made without the use of any animal products or animal testing.
  • Custom Tissue paper made from FSC certified, acid free paper, printed with soy based inks.
  • Brown packing paper reclaimed as waste from local businesses and shredded to pack out the cardboard boxes as an alternative to bubblewrap.
  • Cello bags made from clear Compostable vegetable starch. They are fully biodegradable and compostable.
  • Thank you cards made from 100% recycled paper pulp - can be reused as a print or recycled.
  • Glassine bags made from 100% pine cellulose, compostable and recyclable with household paper waste.
